Hummus Recipe

Hummus is consumed by over 18 Million Americans and millions of other people globally each year.

Essentially a bean dip with origins in the Middle East and a staple food item of Lebanon, Israel and Palestine.

Served with freshly baked or toasted Pita bread it makes for one of the tastiest and healthiest snacks on the planet.

The original Hummus is prepared from cooked, mashed chickpeas, which is well blended with tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and garlic.

Tahini which is a sesame seed paste is an important part of Hummus, however, it can be removed out of the equation completely.

Hummus is an integral part of any Middle Eastern Restaurant’s menu.

However, it can be prepared by you at your own home and consumed as a dip along with your favorite chips in front of the TV on a Monday Night or Sunday Afternoon while relaxing on the couch.

This is where a trained and experienced Chef who has prepared the original “hummus” on a cruise ship sailing out of Israel, Egypt, Jordan and Morocco comes in.

He is about to share with you the real “hummus” recipe below….
